Summary
Tiefenthaler Retail Team Members are responsible for fulfilling customer orders correctly and efficiently, by providing all customers with Tiefenthaler’s Quality Experience. As the first and last point of contact with customers, via face to face, on the phone and email, you must deliver exceptional customer experience every time. You will assist our customers with making the right choices for their family, upselling and adding on appropriate products and making recommendations. Team Members also process transactions at the point of sale system, receive inventory shipments, label products for sale correctly, restock, clean and so much more!. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build a relationship with all online, in-store and drive up customers.
Efficiently and accurately shop customer orders.
Accurately process customer transactions at the register and finalize payment.
Bag/package orders and stage for customer pickup or help customers find what they are looking for inside the store.
Load merchandise into customers’ vehicles.
Knowledgeably answer all questions our customers may have about their order and/or our company/services.
Being able to lift 60 lb. boxes and work in cool/cold environments.
Cleaning as needed to keep the work area sanitized and in order.
Communicate with other Tiefenthaler Team Members and the entire staff at Tiefenthaler’s to facilitate a productive and positive work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Must be outgoing, energetic, honest, dependable, goal-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must demonstrate patience, flexibility, tact, integrity and resourcefulness.
Must be open to new ideas, friendly, fair and consistent team player.
Must have an interest in selling food and promoting Tiefenthaler’s Quality Experience with the desire to learn the characteristics and qualities of products and services that Tiefenthaler’s offer.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous customer service and cashier experience necessary but not required.

Physical Demands
Constant standing, regular use of hands and reaching with arms and hands. Regular talking and hearing. Frequently walking. Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch, taste or smell. Occasional heavy lifting, up to 60 lbs.
Communication
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language. Must have superior written and verbal communication skills that maintain a high level of professionalism. Able to communicate in a knowledgeable, inviting and friendly manner.

Equipment Used
Store phone system, computerized cash register, credit card processor, receipt printer, calculator, printer/fax machine, label printer, product weigh scale.

Work Environment
Moderate noise level, frequently near moving parts (processing equipment in processing area). Effectively work in a variety of environments including hot or cold temperatures, refrigerator or wet conditions, individually or in teams. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment in an effective and professional manner.
